HOW LONG UNTIL I GET MY FINAL IMAGES?

Your image gallery will be sent as high-res JPEGs via a download link by no later than 8pm. We usually send out images for shoots ending after 4pm the next day unless you need us to send them immediately.

Retouching usually takes 2-3 business days, but we also offer same-day retouching for an additional charge.

DO I NEED TO ARRIVE EARLY IF I BOOKED MAKEUP WITH MY SHOOT?

No need! We have built in the extra time to the shoot length itself. Please arrive no more than 5-7 minutes before your scheduled shoot start time (we have lots of appointments throughout the day and it's hard to take people before or after their scheduled times).

DO YOU WORK WITH KIDS AND ACTORS?

We do! The most common actors we work with are new actors who are on a more limited budget or not entirely sure of their "Types" (preferring a versatile image taken on a flat backdrop). In terms of kids, we generally work best with kids ages 6 and up.

DO YOU HAVE A PLACE FOR ME TO CHANGE?

We have a privacy changing screen, or if you prefer there is a restroom you can use. You will have a few minutes before your shoot begins to do some makeup touchups and get ready (but please try not to take more than 5-7 minutes or it will cut into your shoot time).

WHAT FORMAT ARE THE IMAGES SHOT IN?

Images are shot digital, RAW, and in color (if you need, we can convert a photo to black and white for no additional charge). We convert them and send them to you in high-res JPEGs. ​We will send you the photos via an online, private download link.

CAN YOU MAKE ME LOOK MORE TAN OR THIN?

We can definitely alter the way you look in Photoshop or with lighting and camera angles during the shoot.

It's generally advised that you look as close as possible to the way you do in real life so it doesn't seem like you're trying to hide something. That said, we're happy to do what we can to make sure you're happy!

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN OUTFITS?

Yes. Because everyone is a different size, wears different styles, and there are sanitary issues, we do not have clothing here for you. Please bring your own clothing when you come in and we can help you decide what will work best. Learn what colors and clothing look best on camera.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND?

Absolutely! And if your friend also wants to take headshots, we can offer a group discount. Just ask!

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

We can take credit cards or cash, but don't take checks (except for large office shoots). A deposit is due to book the shoot, and balance payments are made at the end of the session.

DO YOU DO OUTDOOR PHOTOS?

All our shoots are done indoors on gray or white backdrops. If you want to shoot outside or are considering a larger or more creative package, we recommend checking out our parent company City Headshots.

CAN I USE MY OWN STYLIST?

You may opt to use your own hair stylist or makeup artist for your shoot, however please note that we are unable to add extra time for styling, and they must use their own equipment. We recommend you come mostly camera-ready and then your stylist can make some final touchups before we begin shooting. It is best to use a stylist who specializes in headshot photography and understands what works well on camera.
